Cormac Ó Caoimh

Sat October 12 @ 8:00 PM 11:00 PM

Well folks, Following from Cormac’s amazing performance last February, I’m delighted to announce that Cormac is returning for an Autumn performance.

Introducing Cormac Ó Caoimh who really shouldn’t need an introduction, however, just in case, keep reading…

Cormac launched his 6th solo album (Where The World Begins) October 27th 2023.

His new album and previous album were both album of the week on RTE Radio 1 on Marty in the Morning on Lyric fm and many many more. He has had over 15 songs on the RTE Recommends list the past few years reaching over 10 million listeners on Irish radio.

Cormac’s intimate vocals, magical melodies and exquisite guitar playing has always attracted very favourable appeal to critics (with Mojo, The Irish Times, HotPress, R2, Americana UK, OndaRock in Italy and many more) who are always quick to point to his unique style as well as drawing comparisons to acts varying from the dreamy pop of The Go Betweens, Badly Drawn Boy, Elliott Smith and Prefab Sprout to the introspective and more folk-oriented Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon.

2020’s ‘Swim Crawl Walk Run’ which spawned 6 singles, entered the official IRMA charts on its release, got to no.1 in the IRMA Independent charts and ended up in the top 20 selling Irish albums for that year.

A support for Cormac will be announced in due course.

Whilst tickets may be available on the night, priority sales will always be given to those purchased in advance online.

Note: The venue operates a pop up café which provides a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy and is accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available ranging from budget dormatory style to high a end luxury suite. Campers and camper vans are also welcome. Email the venue directly for further information.
