We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Maria Doyle Kennedy and her husband Kieran to The Richmond Revival, for what will of course be a very special evening.
Artists with many strings to their bow, Maria collaborates in almost all of her work with her husband Kieran Kennedy (her partner in life, music and many crimes).
Maria set up her own record label in 2000 and has released 11 solo albums to date. The most recent album “ Fire on the roof of Eden“ was listed in The Irish Times albums of the year and Hot Press describes Maria as “one of Ireland’s most accomplished vocalists and a national treasure”.
Accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Kieran, on the night you can expect a storytelling style that combines Maria’s rich voice with Kieran’s musical skill, crafting a deeply intimate experience. Their collaboration creates an evening filled with songs that explore love, life, and reflection, and does so with elegance and emotion,all framed by Maria’s captivating stage presence.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS A minimum of 7 days notice ahead of the event date is required for refund requests. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if the request is made with less than 7 days notice. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds will be issued automatically.
PLEASE NOTE The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy, easily accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite. We offer budget single, twin or double rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen. There is also a self contained two bedroom suite with private bathroom, kitchenette and lounge. Please further note By purchasing a ticket to this event, as part of your admission fee, you are effectively joining The Richmond Revival Cultural Activity Appreciation Club. The rules of the club are binding — Richmond House is a private family home and people are expected to respect this — No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises — Basic common sense, decency and kindness is expected from all members. Breaches of these rules will result in immediate suspension of club membership and admittance.We pride ourselves on having beautiful evenings of exquisite original creative music for all to enjoy so lets keep it up!
