Mark Lyndon fans will be delighted to know he’s making a very welcome return to The Richmond Revival for what has become an annual visit.
This time however, as part of a nationwide tour, Mark will be performing new songs from his recently released album ‘Silhouettes’
Drawing deep from the well of folklore around the Blackwater Valley, Silhouettes is more than just a collection of songs; it is a meticulously researched oral history transformed into a conceptual work where guitar and Lyndon’s powerful voice take centre stage. Reminiscent of the finger-picked intimacy of Nick Drake and Nick Jones and the lyrical prowess of Paul Brady and Richard Thompson, Lyndon’s debut captures these lost stories of what was everyday Irish history and brings them into the light.
Following extensive interviews and archival research, Lyndon has crafted a thematic experience that translates effortlessly from the studio to the stage. Examples from the album include “The Last 35”, a cinematic retelling of the daring inmate breakout from Kilworth Camp. Or “The Brother’s Graham”, ahaunting rendition of a fabled local folk tale.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: A minimum of 7 days notice ahead of the event date is required for refund requests. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if the request is made with less than 7 days notice. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds will be issued automatically. Refunds will not be given for early bird or group tickets.
Please Note: The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy, easily accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite. We offer budget single, twin or double rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen. There is also a luxury suite. Campers and camper vans are welcome. Email the venue directly for further information.
Please further note: by purchasing a ticket to this event, as part of your admission fee, you are effectively joining The Richmond Revival Cultural Activity Appreciation Club. The rules of the club are binding — Richmond House is a private family home and people are expected to respect this — No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises — Basic common sense, decency and kindness is expected from all members.
