Under the Ivy – Annette Buckley sings the Songs of Kate Bush

Sat February 10 @ 8:00 PM 11:00 PM

Beloved Cork singer/songwriter Annette Buckley & pianist Ronan Holohan present ‘Under The Ivy’, songs from the iconic Kate Bush. Having sold out previous performances the duo are delighted to bring back their acclaimed show. This intimate performance will showcase the songwriter’s best loved tracks alongside some rarities.

Annette, an accomplished songwriter in her own right, grew up listening to Kate Bush’s music and from an early age watched her perform on TV programmes such as Top Of The Pops and MT-USA.

“Her songs, vocal range, and music videos intrigued me, so getting to see her perform live at the Hammersmith Apollo in London in 2014 was a dream that I didn’t want to wake up from, and I stayed in that dream-like state for days on end. Since performing her songs, I am finding my own personal journey through each of them and the true meaning of why she wrote them.” Accompanied by the accomplished Ronan Holohan on piano, Annette will perform a stripped down version of Kate Bush’s much loved songs

We are doubly delighted that Annette will have Pauline as a support act.

Hailing from France, Pauline Garcia is a self taught singer and classically trained guitar player, currently involved in two band projects: “Non Toxic Orchestra” and the “Trio Quartet”
She will open up with a solo set of original songs flavoured by African and South American rhythms, a poem or two over a hip-hop beat, and a surprise cover!

Note: The venue operates a pop up café which provides a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy and is accessible via Bus Éireann.
