The Turfmen are an Irish Folk band based in Cork City made up of Shane Lawless\, Garrett O’Hanlon\, Jack Lynch and Paul Linehan. Rooted in Irish trad music\, folk and storytelling\, their sound is inspired by legendary artists such as Christy Moore\, The Clancy Brothers\, The Pogues and many more. Their debut singles called The Seven Woods of Coole and Know Better being released in February marks an exciting new chapter for the band. Their debut album called Daracha Bana was released this June\n\n\n\n\nBOOK TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease Note: The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy\, easily accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite. We offer budget single\, twin or double rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen. There is also a luxury suite. Campers and camper vans are welcome. DESCRIPTION:BOOK TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nI’m delighted to welcome  back Barbara Scully who has a brand-new One-Woman Show called ‘Because I’m Worth It’ which she has been touring in 2026. This follows the success of her first One Woman Show\, Older Bolder Wiser.\n\n\n\nThis new show is called ‘Because I’m Worth It’ and is once again on the theme of getting older but with a different focus. Like ‘Older\, Bolder\, Wiser’ it is a combination of stand-up comedy and story telling.  This time the focus is on the fact that in her sixties Barbara is now finally able to put herself front and centre of her life as she realises that she is ‘bloody well worth it’.” \n\n\n\n“There are now things I don’t do anymore because I am worth it\, like flying Ryanair for example. I am no longer willing to put up with the risk of whip lash as they execute another ‘on time arrival’ never mind the garish\, migraine inducing interior décor and being roared at about raffle tickets like I am at a local GAA fundraiser.” \n\n\n\nThere are also things she insists on doing now too\, because she is worth it and that is where she comes unstuck at times\, with hilarious results. Her stories of pampering herself in Spas abroad are hysterical. \n\n\n\nHer shows\, although clearly aimed mainly at women\, have been a hit with the men who have attended too. “I have had men at all my shows\, and they laughed and learned lots along the way.”  \n\n\n\nBarbara feels that her unique selling point is that she is serving an audience (mainly women over 40) who are not well served by stand up comedy. And women love the underpinning message of her shows…  which is not to fear getting older because with a little luck it can actually be a wonderful phase of life. \n\n\n\n“Doing stand up comedy and story telling was not something ever on my radar\, but that’s the beauty of being in my 60s…. if an adventure or opportunity comes along I say yes now instead of worrying about the ‘what if’s’. DESCRIPTION:BOOK TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Richmond Revival is delighted to welcome back Pollyanna who will be joined by the highly accomplished Oaio.\n\n\n\nSome of ye will remember last years show which was (of course) fantastic and intimate. \n\n\n\nPollyanna\n\n\n\nPollyanna is a French Indie-Folk project led by Isabelle Casier. Her honest songwriting and heart-warming voice has led her to many different places all across the western hemisphere. She shared the bill with riot grrrls stars (Sleater Kinney)\, sophisticated indie pop (Wilco)\, French chanson (Françoiz Breut)\, rootsy folksters in Tennessee and shanty choirs in Germany. \n\n\n\nA curiosity and taste for friendliness that is noticeable whether she plays solo or lines up a full band. Despite a natural flair for minor chords\, Isabelle’s cheerful presence\, eclectic taste and experiences as an outsider (in Europe and the Americas) open up her musical field to all things pop\, rock\, folk and folklores. A fair collection of ballads that often sound like pure classics. \n\n\n\nOaio\n\n\n\nBathed in folk\, then falling into Latin American music\, Oaio plunged into jazz then headed towards bluegrass\, to emerge from these adventures with a first album\, Bizarre Monde\, tracing the path of an anti-purist French song\, mixed with the Mediterranean and the Americas. \n\n\n\nOn the guitar\, the ukulele and banjo\, the Lille native carries her voice and her songs like pilgrims carry their staffs\, in search of a new world made of connections and reconciliations. \n\n\n\nStep by step\, song by song\, Oaio hopes to one day set foot in a delightfully unknown territory\, to raise a small flag adorned with four magical vowels. \n\n\n\n\nBOOK TICKETS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPollyanna & Oaio will be performing live at The Richmond Revival on the 26th of September.\n\n\n\nCANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS A minimum of 7 days notice ahead of the event date is required for refund requests.
