Freebirth Story Circle
October 20 @ 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
A freebirth story circle will be held on the 20th of October 23 at The Richmond Revival.
Here we will hear stories from women who have chosen autonomous family birth without the presence of medical assistance also known as freebirth.
This is a space to learn from women’s own embodied knowledge, knowledge that is not held in high regard in the medical model.
This space will be for deep listening free from judgement or advice.
Women who have free birthed are invited to share their birth story, and women who are interested in hearing the stories of undisturbed physiological birth are welcome to come and listen.
This event is hosted by Sarah Kelleher, an undisturbed birth educator, certified by the Matrona school of holistic quantum midwifery, and freebirth advocate.
In Sarah’s words, ‘I am passionate about creating community and support for women and families who choose freebirth and an advocate for embodied knowledge promoting oral tradition and the healing power of our stories for others’.
The gathering is from 11am to 4pm on October 20th.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Booking essential as spaces are limited to provide ample time for women sharing their stories
Please email Sarah directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
