After nearly a decade away from the stage, The Richmond Revival is delighted to welcome Roesy to Fermoy this September.
Originally hailing from Birr in Co. Offaly, Roesy has spent the last few years in Melbourne, quietly writing and composing music while pursuing a vocation in disability care.
His highly anticipated return to the stage is being described as
“Bringing a renewed voice and perspective to a body of work long celebrated for its lyrical depth and emotional clarity. Known for his gentle playing style and warm, engaging stage presence, his performances invite quiet connection and deep listening.”
In 2018 Roesy released the album, The Day Before the Fair, full of traditional Irish folk songs. His song ‘Cast Your Line’, was featured on the Discovery Channels ‘Deadliest Catch’ and the track ‘Stardust‘ was added to the feature length documentary ‘The Bikes of Wrath’.
This homecoming tour will begin with a stripped back, voice and guitar set at Electric Picnic, followed by a series of intimate concerts around the country, of which The Richmond Revival will be one.
Expect new material, shaped by distance and return, performed alongside the songs that once marked his path.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS A minimum of 7 days notice ahead of the event date is required for refund requests. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if the request is made with less than 7 days notice. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds will be issued automatically.
PLEASE NOTE The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy, easily accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite. We offer budget single, twin or double rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen. There is also a self contained two bedroom suite with private bathroom, kitchenette and lounge. Please further note By purchasing a ticket to this event, as part of your admission fee, you are effectively joining The Richmond Revival Cultural Activity Appreciation Club. The rules of the club are binding — Richmond House is a private family home and people are expected to respect this — No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises — Basic common sense, decency and kindness is expected from all members.
