We’re delighted to welcome the duo Greene and Shine this May to The Richmond Revival and excited to experience their brand of Folk and Americana.
Husband and wife Noel and Mary have been important figures at the centre of the Cork and national Folk and Americana scene for a number of years. From Noel’s role as one of the founders of Cork Folk Festival, right through to the couple’s work alongside their daughter Ellie as RTE Folk Awards nominated band Greenshine.
Greene and Shine’s music straddles the boundaries of Folk, Indie and Americana with intertwining harmonies, skillful string-work and fine songwriting.

Between them, Noel and Mary have lent their talents to the recordings of Christy Moore, Republic of Loose, Mick Hanly, Frances Black and John Spillane amongst many others.
The quality of their musicianship has garnered them numerous accolades. Noel is a wonderful multi-instrumentalist whilst Mary’s songwriting has propelled them to the No. 1 spot of the RTE Radio 1 playlist on several occasions most notably with her song ‘The Girl in the Lavender Dress‘ not only reaching the top of the chart, but going on to be the 2nd most played Irish track in the year of its release, while their debut album ‘The Land You Love The Best‘ was placed in the top 3 Folk albums in The Irish Times.

Cancellations & Refunds: A minimum of 7 days notice ahead of the event date is required for refund requests. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if the request is made with less than 7 days notice. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds will be issued automatically.
Please Note: The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy, easily accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite. We offer budget single, twin or double rooms with a shared bathroom and kitchen. There is also a self contained two bedroom suite with private bathroom, kitchenette and lounge. Please further note: by purchasing a ticket to this event, as part of your admission fee, you are effectively joining The Richmond Revival Cultural Activity Appreciation Club. The rules of the club are binding — Richmond House is a private family home and people are expected to respect this — No alcohol is to be brought onto the premises — Basic common sense, decency and kindness is expected from all members. Breaches of these rules will result in immediate suspension of club membership and admittance.We pride ourselves on having beautiful evenings of exquisite original creative music for all to enjoy so lets keep it up!
